Hi there
I want to describe my history with Sequoia in this thread.
Well
I bought my Sequoia from Copart and import it to Poland.
Car was bought with clear title with mechanical damage.
When I took it from port and bring it to home Ive start to search what is with car.
It has some scratch on right side but this is not important, Ive tried to start engine, starter was working but engine didnt start.
Ive start to search problem.
Ive discovered that engine has broken timing belt ( was hiden on first look )
I bought new timing belt for test , engine started but with some noise .
Ive checked cylinder compresion , on two cylinders was 0, this means that something is wrong, probably valves.
I decided to take over cylinder heads, i found 4 exhaust valves broken.
Not so bad I think.
Few days after I look at the engine and found scratch on oil pump where timing belt pulley is mounted, I need to replace oil pump.
To replace oil pump you need to take over oil pans, to take off oil pans you need to remove engine from car.
So i did, now my enigne is on table , engine is painted and waiting for new parts.
Ive also cleaned some rust from frame in engine compartment and painted.
Below are pictures of my Sequoia from auction, later I will post some actuall pictures.
I hope its not boring but I will try to describe my full history of Sequoia.
