Hey man, just an update. I got up there with an 1-1/2” by 1/2” piece of wood and a hammer and lightly tapped inward the area that was rubbing and it’s clear now. There was two areas that needed the most correction but it’s not rubbing. Just a heads up you will cause a little bend in the lip but...
Lol, why is 04’ the best year? Granted after doing some research before buying I avoided the 01’-03’ due to know transmission issues but I would of settled on an 05’ or 06’.
I took it to a locksmith and they tried several times after that they found the one key I have isn’t the “Master Key”. ECU has to be flashed to reprogram the one key as a master and then I can get a second key made and program my Keyfobs.
I’ve heard Sequoia’s have a lot of lift gate issues from other owners but your the only one that has the same damn issue I’m having. I’m taking mine to a local body shop to see what they recommend/can do to get it to clear. I’ve been told by other Sequoia owners “Just don’t use the lift gate”...
I noticed on the way home from work I’m getting a tapping sound coming from under the dash on the passenger side. There’s no rhythm to it and it’s not super loud. Seems like it tends to happen when this (see pic) is on.
I’ve tried 2 different methods 7 different times and I still can’t get her into program mode. Anyone else has/had the same issue? It’s frustrating the hell outta me!!!
Sorry wasn’t sure where to post this but I’ve been searching for the perfect 1st Gen Sequoia within my budget for technically about a year. I came up empty handed last November and ended up buying a Nissan Armada because it was my second choice and I was tired of riding my Motorcycle too work...
I’ve got a 04’ Sequoia with a weird mis-aligned tailgate. I noticed when I open the tailgate it rubs slightly (metal to metal) on the top passenger side. I wasn’t sure if anyone has had this same issue and was able to realign it or if it’s a common problem. It closes fine and from the look of it...
I know this is an old thread but I just purchased a 04’ with the same issue and I was curious if you resolved it’s. I plan on changing the sending unit, it’s a cheap enough part to at least try. I honestly don’t think it’s the cluster considering it moves on occasion.
