My 06 RWD passed California emission test but failed the CAT specs. But Toyota no longer makes those CATs. Anywhere you can get an economical replacement and still pass CA specs?.

I am not sure what CAT specs are...BUT my CATS were "cut off" last year in the night. While shopping around I found out that you cannot just go to ebay or something and buy some from Canada or someplace...in fact, they cannot ship to CA.
You will need to most likely let the muffler shop get them for you because they know the ones that are certified to spec.
The ones I got were not factory...They have less rare earths and therefore are cheaper. And supposedly the thiefs won't steal them because of that...
Cost installed for two..about $1750 in LA.
