Upgrade options for 2013 JBL Synthesis Nav system.

I am looking for options to switch out my 2013 Sequoia JBL Synthesis factory radio for a CarPlay unit that will accommodate the existing audio amplifier, backup camera and steering controls.

Has anyone had any experience doing this? DYI or otherwise?

I recently added a 9” Pioneer CarPlay to my 2015. There are adapters you can purchase (I bought the unit and adapter from BestBuy) that keep the steering wheel controls in tact. It was a really nice upgrade that modernized the interior.
