quick tip on these - they are self adjusting. if you can find a big enough space, put the vehicle in reverse and let go of the brake. Use the e-brake to stop the vehicle a few times and boom - adjusted.
Find anything? You might try a fixed antenna mast from a tunder. When the power antenna on my 4runner failed, I replaced it with a fixed mast from a taco. It worked great and it was easy to remove for carwashed, wheeling, etc. Look for a fixed mast setup from a base tundra in a junkyard or ebay.
