Howdy folks, new member here. Been building off road rigs for a while now. Just finished my first (and last) Jeep build (99 XJ). But, I’m a Toyota guy all the way, and was itching to get back into a Toyota.

Picked up a 2002 Sequoia Limited, 183k on the clock, new frame in 2013, rusty/crusty salt belt baby otherwise...lol.

Going through it top to bottom (in process now).

The initial plan: 2.5” lift/level, 33’s, cut out all cancer (worst of it is the rockers), 2x6 steel tubing sliders.

Thanks for reading, stay tuned!

I had already started the build a month or so ago, so I’ll throw a few posts up here now to bring it up to date.

Got to cutting the cancer out, rockers had the worst of it.

Floor repair by the rear HVAC, looks like the lines had been leaking there for a good long while....

Thank! Top coat is Duplicolor bedliner. I spend a lot of time on prep.

Descale, brush, wipe down dry, wipe down with denatured alcohol, rust converter (2 coats), wait for that to fully set up, then bedliner.

It’s been a lot of work but it’s coming out pretty good!
