I have imported my Sequoia from NY, USA. After one year of driving:
- no problems with car
- rust is on full attack on frame - I've made holes in frame main rails (under first row of seats).

It's great family hauler so we decide to go big: dissassembly, repair and pro-protect from rust.
Why - because frame recall didn't work in Toyota Poland.

Right now car looks like that:

Some parts of frame was rebuild:

Frame will occur many treatment operations, one of them is "bath" in zinc (on movie isn't my frame)

Later car will be completed with new OME suspension and many other parts.

@magic_bob: one BigTree head ache is enough. And I like it.

I had visited yeaterday my Sequoia. It is after bath and looks like this:
Front part upside down:

Rear part upside-down. Happy to see it without this terrible amount of rust.

This parts of the frame are most endangered to rotting because of frame's slope (cumulating of water, mud etc). So it rust very much - cut off and replaced by new better than original steel (with improvements); on this mounts is holding much of the weight of car body.

Whole frame inside and outside is protected in zinc. Normally this protection is enough but it will be painted in 3 layers of additional layers ouside.

Maybe one more month and I will be driving.

This is how it looks on OME2885 and OME 2862 with OME shocks (with stock small tires).

Car still need some attention but it worth it.
