I have a 2004 Sequoia that I put a 2.5" lift on. It has spc uppers and the wheels I have are 17" method 701's with a -12 offset. I am looking at the 255 80 nitto ridge grapplers currently. But I'm also looking at 285 75 nittos. Am I going to need to do the pinch weld and fender triming to fit the 285s? Thank you in advance.

Depends on your alignment (where the cam tabs are adjusted to) your ACTUAL tire diameter and your offset. I've run 33" to 37" tires on mine. You 100% have to do pinch weld modification for a full stuff 35" tire, and have aftermarket LCAs, pinch weld mod and/or Modify the firewall to fit, stuff, and turn a 37" tire.
