Did you install all of your brake upgrade parts at one time or individually? Curious if these help with anything.

I did these at a different time than my pads and rotors. Gives better pedal feel and it felt like improved braking.

Ok great. I am thinking about upgrading to the 13wl calipers and rotors, and doing these lines in the near future. I have a 2001, and 33s, so it's a little underpowered braking wise.

If your not afraid of grinding then I would go with the 4Runner upgrade.

Very interesting. I've been researching over a year and never saw this option. Thank you.

Yes this one kind of just fell into my lap after some research. I had already replaced my pads and rotors so I have to wait a while before I upgrade. But if your ready to do it this is perfect.
I also think Scotty did some sort of master cylinder upgrade as well. I think he actually did a full write up on all of it on Expo but I'm not sure.

Let me know how it goes.

Your welcome.

I'm going to be ordering the parts to do this 4runner upgrade finally. Maybe I can do a write up if time allows, or at least report back on how it all works.

This is my parts list. I suggest using rockauto, always cheapest. Same stainless lines as you suggested as well.

I will update how it goes after install or help take photos of any odd modifications needed etc.

The brake lines I received don't seem to look like the photo. Same part # though. Am I missing something?

The ST kit replaces the rubber portion brake line.

Since you're doing the T4R upgrade, I don't recommend using the set pictured in your post.

If you read further in my build thread, you'll see that the larger brake system reduces clearance from the shock bucket and can cause damage when the suspension cycles if you retain the OEM hardline at the caliper.

Where did you get your lines and/or what is the length?

I don't have a length. Had them made special from Crown Performance. They should still have the specs since I organized a GB a couple of months back. Give them a call.
