ALCON- what kind of mileage do you see when towing? I know, there are a lot of variables to consider; I'm just asking generically. Feel free to share what kind of weight or what you've towed. I'm looking at buying a 2015 Platinum. I see they get between 14-17 regularly, but I'll be towing an Airstream Basecamp 20x with it regularly and want to know what kind of mileage to expect.

Warm Regards,

I tow a 5,600 boat and trailer (weighed at the scale) and get about 9 mpg when towing in San Diego, primarily flat freeways. I added airbags to the rear and highly recommend them if towing regularly.

When I have towed my PT Cruiser, roughly 4,500 lbs with trailer, I get about 10-12 MPG. This is primarily on rolling hill interstate at 65-70MPH. When in town and experience more start and stop driving, it drops to 8-9 MPG.

13ish. Around 3000 pounds Casita trailer.

We are in the process of buying a 2020 Sequoia and the Casita we ordered a year ago is scheduled to be delivered in early October. How has it been towing the Casita? Which trailer brake controller did you install?

I tow a 5,600 pound Rockwood 26’ with my 2013 Platinum and generally get 7-9 mpg.
