Hey all, South Jersey, Atlantic County near Atlantic City, Original 2002 Sequoia with 238,000 and counting. This summer I hope to be doing my first real mod of a 2.5 inch Old Man Umu lift from 1stgenoffroad, still waiting for the front shock assembly, they said huge delay in shocks since covid. Need to order some other items, i.e. drop front diff kit and going to do lower control arm, bearings, brake upgrades, hope to improve my ride and make my baby last up over the 300k mark.

New member just got my 07 blue sequoia 110k. Looking to find a good Toyota mechanic shop familiar with the sequoia/tundra platform.

Hey Mad,

Congrats on the 07, have not really found a specific "toyota mechanic shop" but I can tell you that the vehicle is well known, not to bad to work on if doing it yourself and plenty of OEM parts on the market. Are you looking to do anything specific ? or any specific issues you are having ? 110K is a baby LOL

No so much anything specific that I'm having an issue with ...just wondering if anyone knows of a Toyota specialist that's used to working on our trucks. I'm looking to change the timing belt and water pump at the same time. Looking to do a lift kit add some rims and tires. Excited to have this bad boy just want to take care of it..plan on having it for a long long time.
