So this morning we had some freezing rain round here. Pulling into my work didn't slow down enough and got caught in a real nice size frozen puddle. Slid into the dumpster and now need a new bumper. Ugh. Fog lights hanging out and everything. It sucks because it's been less than a week owning a gen1 sequoia.

My question is what kind of cross years should I look for as far as maybe an aftermarket bumper or keep it cheap and get a factory cover. Do the gen1 tundra bumpers fit on the sequoias? Thanks.

What color is your truck and what is your location? I ask because my stock front bumper is sitting here doing nothing.

North Chicago. I'm not sure what the color code is yet.

Oh so your easiest options are going to be a bumper from a 05-07. The earlier ones like mine are different as the don't have the horns sticking up like yours and the hood matches up with the bumper differently. Brute Force Fab makes one

Looks like eBay has unpainted ones for your truck for around $200 shipped. Then pay to have it painted.

I'm just thinking maybe I just invest in a bigger bumper. I'm gonna have this truck for years to come, so if the bumper gets hit again for who knows what I'll be okay. I know a good union welder that could make me one. Just kinda weighing my options.

That would be awesome. I kept scuffing and bumping my stock bumper so I am happy it is gone.

If you can wait a little while I'll be getting the brute force fab front bumper and will have my phantom grey (your color) available. Mines from an 07 so it'll be a direct swap.
