After ordering some parts, waiting for some other things to fall into line, I finally put some Toyo AT's on the '03 I bought. Put ARB2862's in the rear and Bilsteins in the front with ARB 2885's. Had some spring compressor problems with the fromt struts, so I took it over to 4wheel parts locally where I bought the tires. Anyhow, after the tech had some hassles of his own trying to compress the spring, it turned out that the Moog strut was a replacement---with a smaller diameter coil that wouldn't fit over the Bilstein. Ended up ordering new top hats from the parts store and ARB 2885 coils up front after reading the forum here. The stock coils at the dealership were 254 bucks. Each. Unfortunately, the ARB coils were taller than the stock toyota coil and would get coil bound if put up on the 3rd or higher notch on the Bilstein according to the tech. Now I've got a bigger lift in the back than the front, but the tires still help make it look great. Pictures forthcoming.
Overall lift showing 1 1/2" rake
Bilstein with ARB 2885 coil on second groove good for .65" lift according to the included sheet
Image of plastic trim rub.
I may either try to source some stock coils and sell on the ARB's, try to up the bilstein to the 3rd setting, or perhaps do a combo of Bilstein and a short spacer lift/level. Still stoked, but I also still have some work to do.
