Hi! I'm new here. I just bought an 04 2wd Sequoia a couple months ago. Just ordered bilstein 5100 front lift and old man emu rear shocks with 2" spacers. I have some 315/75/16 tires sitting around but currently have 17" rims on the truck. After the lift I'll be looking for some 16" rims for the 35"s, and am eagerly awaiting pics on here. Thanks for all the pics and info y'all! Keep it coming, I'll have some soon.
Curious on fitting the 35s with that lift. Going to be very tight. Ucas are more than likely going to rub and lots of fender rub

Do you mean the ucas will rub on the tire? Or on the spring/frame because 2.5" is too much downward angle? I'm starting to give up on the idea of the 35s, but I have them, so maybe later for s&g, if I run across a really cheap 16" wheel(set). Now I'm wondering what's the biggest tire for my factory 17s I can fit in there with 2-2.5" of lift. How high is too high for proper alignment/upper control arm clearance on the bilstein 5100 front lift?(stock uppers)

Yes, rub on the tire with 35s. 33s are a safe bet with stock ucas

So finally got my wheels finished up and the 315/75 R16 bfg KM3s mounted up. Only doing this so I can drive the car till we tub the firewall but waiting to test full stuff when my new Fox struts come in so I’m not removing things multiple times. Clearance is good for street driving and light off-road with sway bars attached.
Wheels are 16x8 -13. Fairly good fitment i would say but any closer and I’d be in my camburg UCA.

Sorry to resurrect the dead thread. This is great info and I have a question. I am going to by a stock 04 no lift and would like to do no more of a lift than a 2" body lift and get 33s or 315x65x16. With the 2" lift would I need to modify the wheel well at all due to rubbing? It's not for off roading so much as I like the looks (gives the sequoia a good balanced look) and 33s are a great overlanding type wheel size (camping off roading, no rock crawls).

Not to mention the bigger tires give more room for crawling... under the vehicle to work on it. Big plus in my book.

Thanks!

ps if a 2" body lift and taking the mud flap off isn't enough I will get a smaller tire (32s maybe). And My rims have stock back spacing so I will get 1.25" Spidertrax spacers.

Same question. Do 32's fit stock with no lift? I am guessing not. Want to go 33" if possible off a 2" body lift or just go 32's with a 1 or 2" lift.

I just put 285/75/16 ATs (32.8") on my 2002 Limited with no lift and they fit fine. I just had to remove the front mud flaps. My wheels have about about -17mm offset. The picture attached is before removing the mud flaps.

You should be fine with 32’s on stock. The wheel and tire combo I had definitely had some frame rub though My rig before new suspension, wheels, and tires had on 275/55/20 (31.9) with +12 offset (definitely don’t recommend this setup if you do any wheeling, but the wheels and tires were new when I bought it a few years ago!)
