Can anyone share their feedback on if they have installed the 5100's on their 2Gen Sequioa? Would be curious how you feel they compare and contrast to the stock struts?

What you like, what you don't, did you lift or take the lowest setting, etc?

Thanks in advance!

Went with the 6112's up front. Great ride. Handles far better. but the old ones were very worn.
As for the rear, went with Toytech. Blew out one side before the next oil change. Looks like warranty though.

I just installed 5100s in the rear of my ‘14 Limited. I immediately felt an improvement over the 4600s they replaced. Like everyone says, they’ve “firmer”, and not harsh/jarring. Firm. Sporty. More controlled.

I had installed the 4600s about 20k miles ago. One of them recently blew a seal. Turns out the 4x4 shop installed my rear shocks upside-down! The weep holes in the shock boot should face DOWN, to let water drain out! Instead, water and road grit were allowed to fill the boot over a short time and I’m certain that killed the shock’s seal(s), which allowed the shock oil (and nitrogen charge) to escape.

I look forward to eventually upgrading the front 4600s to a 6112 setup.

No experience on 2nd gen. I replaced 4600s on rear of my Gen 1 with 5100s and it was night and day better ride and controlled sway with 2" lift via OME springs.
