I have a 2007 Sequoia limited 2wd 4.7. My question is while i am driving under acceleration, i hear a noise coming from the engine bay. The noise sounds like roaring mud grip tires, but when i lift off the accelerator the noise stops. This only happens while i am driving down the road. When in park and i push the gas pedal and rev the engine, there is no noise. It seems to only happen while driving when engine is under a load. The engine idles smooth and the transmission shifts smooth. I am a bit lost with this one, after all i can't very well sit under the hood while it's driven down the road. Has anyone had this issue or knows exactly what this could be? My first thought is the clutch fan vibration causing it. I checked the clutch fan and it is not loose and spins freely when engine is off, so it isn't stuck. So any help would be much appreciated. Thank you so much.
