Got the ladder installed this weekend, was a pretty easy install, but the fitment and the directions were not that great.
The issues with the fitment is caused by the shape of the roof along with the hump from the third brake light with the ladder bracket being completely flat. The directions called for the edge of bracket to be 8" away from the roof molding, but that put the bracket half over the hump for the third brake light causing only have the bracket to be in contact with the gate. I moved it closer so more of the bracket was contacting, but after the install I noticed the bracket lifted up some. Hopefully it will still hold fine. I will be putting some grip tape on the steps to help with slipping when ascending the latter as the powder-coat finish is smooth and with rain could become slippery.
