2004 Sequoia----HELP please

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this here, but my rig has 140K all stock and just recently when I fill up Im noticing strong fuel smell in the rear, outside only. I have replaced the cap with no change. Once the fuel goes below 3/4 tank the smell goes away. I have climbed all over the underside to inspect for leaks with no luck. Has anyone encountered this? I have no lights or codes, starts and runs perfect. Any direction or help will be appreciated! Thanks

Have heard of cracked tanks at the upper half before. A full tank will leak, it is plastic after all. Hard to find

The only times I’ve had that happen to me was when I topped off at the pump, which probably overfilled my tank and gassed me out.
