Howdy, Everyone.
Most of my driving lately has been short distances in an urban area. However, I made a slog from Columbus to Cleveland and back on Friday and I discovered that there is something wrong with my cruise control. When it is set, it seems to have difficulty maintaining the speed; it feels like it would if you rhythmically tapped the gas pedal. My best guess is that the cruise is disengaging and engaging repeatedly. Anyone have a similar issue? Guessing this might expand across Toyota products as I think the cruise tech is generally the same in all models. Also guessing it's likely to be an electronic/computer issue rather than mechanical and thus expensive and wildly complicated to fix.
Appreciate any tips or commisseration.
