I'm upgrading the factory fog light to LED. I choose Morimoto XB LED Fog light for this replacement. XB is a direct replacement over factory light. I ordered Morimoto XB LED Fog Light from TRS (The Retrofit Source) https://www.theretrofitsource.com/.

The light retail for $200.

You will need the following tools.
  1. 10mm socket and wrench
  2. flat head screwdriver
  3. nose pliers
  4. paper towel for cleaning dirts/finger prints.

The light arrived in a box and both fog light wrapped in bubble wrap. The wire terminal is not inserted to a wiring plug. You will need to test the correct wiring by plugging the wire terminal to the vehicle wiring harness.

First, I removed the fog light plastic cover from the bumper. This will exposed 3 10mm bolt. Removed all 3 @ 10mm bolts and you will be able to remove the fog light assembly from the vehicle. Disconnect the fog light wiring harness.

Removed the factory fog light from the housing. Removed the light aim adjuster assembly. Move the adjustment to the new LED fog light. I try to reset the adjuster to the factory setting. Reinstall the LED fog light back to the plastic housing. Test the wiring terminal. The photo below show the correct wiring terminal. Insert the wiring terminal into the wired socket. You will feel a click when the wiring terminal securely inserted to the socket.

Reinstalled the housing back to the vehicle bumper. Tighten 3 @ 10 mm bolt. Insert the fog light plastic cover back. Voila, you completed the installation. Now, turn on the fog light and test function.

The new LED foglight output is much more better than factory foglight. Morimoto LED fog light also have blackout reflector for enhanced appearance. Overall, the upgrade is very easy and straight forward. Only 15 mins required for the whole installation. I took 30 mins because I spend extra time wiping off dirts from the plastic cover & housing.

I know this thread is two years old but wanted to add my experience. First of all, thank you for posting this. I was going into this thinking the sequoia and tundra were the same procedure but that was obviously not the case. Second, the article above is 100% accurate in how easy this is. The only problem i had was getting the fog light bezel off. It doesn't just pull off as easily as it looked above. If you look at the picture you will see 3 locking tabs on the side of the bezel that faces the center of the vehicle and L tabs on the side the faces the outside of the vehicle. Makes it easy to reinstall because you hook the outside first and then line up the locking tabs to push in and secure.

All that being said, i could not get the locking tabs to come out purely by just pulling. The top locking tab comes out easily but the other two would not break out. What I ended up doing was pulling the top locking tab loose (was the only one that popped out on both sides), then pulled the whole bezel towards the center of the vehicle until the L tabs popped out which then gave the bezel enough play to get the other two locking tabs to come out. Lots of bending and pulling but it was cold out and nothing broke so i'm sure this would work for anyone else. The only other way to do this would be to get behind the bumper and free the tabs that way but its really not necessary.

Lights made a huge difference! Thanks again for the post!

Looking forward to doing this myself as funds allow. For now, I installed Alla Lighting LED bulbs in the fog lights. Huge improvement in looks, but I think that blackout look when they are off would be way better.

Here's the link to the bulbs I installed:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S9H6WNR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It took me a while to get them adjusted properly. Basically, there are LED emitters on 2 sides of the bulb and those need to be pretty much horizontal so that they fire left and right to hit the reflectors properly and bounce forward. There's a small adjusting screw that loosens the collar so the bulb can be rotated, but every time I loosened it, I would have to tighten it again before inserting it because you have to twist the bulb in to insert it. Twisting it while that set screw is backed out a bit would just turn the bulb and not the collar. Kind of a pain, but by far the most difficult part of the whole operation.

To change the bulbs, do exactly what it says in the two write-ups above, only pull the bulb out, put the new one in, make sure it's aimed correctly, and install the fog light assembly again.

So how do they look? Here's a photo of them. This also shows my LED headlight bulbs as I changed them at the same time.

The Morimotos definitely look better in the daylight. These look almost completely stock.

Total cost was about $110 for the high beams, low beams, and fog light bulbs.
