Looks like Toyota only properly fixed the upper and lower control arms to provide a failsafe design in the 2008 and newer vehicles. The balljoints are less likely to pop out due to the now inverted position. Wish someone would make this setup for the gen 1's. They could make a fortune...

Was the frame replacement dealer initiated? I have a 2002 and the dealer told me back in August they put a hold on the frame replacements. My frame looks like swiss cheese. Guess they want me to give up on the truck before they replace the frame... Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
