    Front Suspension Refresh: 2006 SR5 4WD

175,000 on the truck, bushings were good but had to be destroyed to remove seized cam sleeves. Entire life in the south completely rust free; cams still seized... If you are thinking about doing this job have the cam sleeves on hand, plenty of sawzall blades and plan on cutting out cam sleeves...

    Overland_NC 2007 - Family Wagon Build

Truck looks great! I see you went with 2866 rear coils which look like progressive springs? how do you like them and how did you decide on the 2866, I know most are running the 2865...

Currently trying to paint mine with rustoleum satin black but I'm having trouble getting it to harden in the brutal southern coastal humidity. Beginning to think the paint is just soft by nature... How is yours? I can make a dent in mine with a finger nail... Sent from my LG-H811 using Tapatalk

Armoring Up - What do we need?

+1 on belly armor. Add me to the pre-order list!! Aluminum would be my first choice, it'd be great to have some Sequoia specific production skid plates! Sent from my LG-H811 using Tapatalk

Armoring Up - What do we need?

The middle section would have to be cut out but that's SOP for these type setups. This is closer to what I envision...

Armoring Up - What do we need?

Not really armor but rear ladder integrated into swingout would be sweet or maybe a side ladder like the Southern Style Off-road rear bumper might make better use of available space. Production hidden winch mount with recovery points would be great. It has been done but nothing Production...

    Winch????

10,000lbs is probably enough especially if you always carry a snatch block. 1.5 × vehicle weight fully loaded is the general rule. Do the math for your setup including all gear and passengers. Stay away from cheap no name winches. Your winch is a tool that has to work when nothing else will...

    Sequoia vs Tundra

Double cab tundra headlights are identical to Sequoia. The only fully bolt on bumper for 05'-07' Sequoia with no modification is Brute Force Fabrication. Check out: www.facebook.com/groups/Sequoia4WD For lots of pictures and albums of bumpers. If you swap your grille to a double cab tundra...

What type of coolant did you use? Aluminium blocks require non-silicate coolant to prevent corrosion, I know the 2UZ-FE block is cast iron but also has aluminium heads...
