Funny, I ordered the replacement Ts and they're sitting in my glove compartment now, but mine looked in such good shape without taking the hoses off that I'm debating even switching them out. The plastic hasn't even lost it's glossiness and my Sequoia's at 190k. I agree with your reasoning...
