New member and new to the Sequoia Family. Own a 4 runner and a Prius (haha I know but that joker will save you some gas money) but first Sequoia. Bought a 2003 limited stock with 224k with some dents and dings but that's why I got it. I was needing a 4X4 that had space and would double as a reliable hunting rig.
Took the family on first all day trail ride this past weekend and had a blast. The kids are calling it an Offroad MiniVan!
Looking to get it setup for some offroad incase I get in a sticky situation, I have ordered the OME coils and shocks with the spidertrax 1.25" spacers and looking at some new tires. I was looking at Cooper Discoverer ATP's, Discount tire has them for $188 a tire. The Atturo Trail Blade X/T for $164 a tire but I don't anyone who has ran them.

Any better suggestions?

Only minor modifications so far:
* replaced cloudy headlights
* replaced stock air in-take for the Spectra air intake polished chrome

I like I said hunting rig in the making on a budget!!
Here is a few pics as we sit now and hopefully more to come.

Welcome, looks good. Take off those running boards for some clearance. Ridge grapples are my go to these days we have put them on a lot of our trucks and like them. What size are you looking at?

Probably 285/70/17, my OME lift is only 2.5-3” so I’d be nervous stuffing anything bigger without doing some cutting. I was actually just looking at the nitto ridge grapplers. What kind of miles are you getting out of them? I know the terra grapplers are supposed to get 50-60k.

How is the ride quality compared to stock with an old man emu lift?
Being honest, I was surprised at how smooth my stock setup rode for being an '03 and over 200k miles, so compared to that it rides alittle stiff. But I don't completely put that on the lift, the bigger 10 ply tires Falken Wildpeak AT3 (vs street tread) also contribute.

Blacking them out looks very cool.... I may try that for a new look. I did paint mine first thing when I got it with the VHT High Temp Graphite wheel paint.
