Speaker Wire Colors? Gen1

Hey all. I am doing a DIY upgrade on my front door speakers an am not 100% sure of the wire colors inside the bracket for the midrange. I would assume that red is positive and yellow is negative but want to make sure before I blow something up.

I know this may be a little late, but if you use a volt meter set to DC. Attach the leads to each wire. When the red lead from the meter is on the positive wire you'll have a positive reading on the meter. When the red lead is on the negative wire then the reading will be negative on the meter. For example, the green wire to the 6.5" speaker was positive on mine.
