I went to the dealer and I had some problems with the ac and clock resetting each time I shut the vehicle down. The electrician said that my control panel assembly was not working properly but they are discontinued and cost 6,900 from them. So now how do I find a solid used control panel and how new can I go. I have the 2004 sr5 rear wheel drive. Can I get a control panel from a 2007 sequoia, if I can find one. Anybody have any input?

Thanks,
David

He says if they had it in stock a replacement is 6,900. On the bill it say the control panel assembly. If it’s just the plate on the back of the dash section with the ac controls, I agree I can find that. It seems like where the ac controls connect and at first the dealer tried to blame an aftermarket entertainment unit. My response then was, if that’s the case disconnect the stereo and get the ac remembering settings. He could not. 500 bucks in labor and they can’t fix. But it’s a minor irritant as it works when set.
