Hey guys, I just finished the first stage of my Sequoia build. Started with a stock 2004 Limited and just installed a 3" Toytec Boss suspension kit, Total Chaos upper control arms, Spidertrax wheel spacers, and some new 285/70r17 BF Goodrich KO2's. I'm loving the way it rides now and it should be a little better for getting my family out on some trails here in Tennessee. Future plans include a 100 series snorkel, sliders, front winch bumper or hidden winch mount, Gobi rack, and some more auxiliary lighting.

Looks great! I have the same year & color limited. I did a 2" front lift with bilstein 5100s, currently working on adjusting the rear air height. I'm going with the same tires but with offset rims (as soon as I chew through my current stock tires.) Thanks for the inspiration.

I'm definitely going to be upgrading the wheels in the future. Unfortunately everything I actually like and think looks good on the vehicle is currently out of stock so I had to go with the spacers in the interim to meet my deadline. So far the truck rides so much better than stock and the BFG's make almost no noise at all. I'm going on pretty long trip for christmas so I'll have a more in depth update after that.

What aspects of the ride quality did you notice a difference?

Any tire rubbing at all with those spacers?

Overall the vehicle feels much more planted. It soaks bumps much better than the stock suspension did. I do still have a little rubbing but mainly at full lock in reverse so not a big deal to me. I probably need to adjust the coilovers a little to fine tune but I'm going on a trip on saturday and I just don't have the time to do it. One thing that I've noticed is that my ABS and VSC lights are on now. I'm guessing I over stretched one of the rear ABS sensors when I was installing the springs but does anyone know if programming needs to be done to let the computer know what size tire is on the vehicle? I came from a Jeep background and JK Wranglers require calibration otherwise the trans won't shift right, speedo is off, traction control isn't happy, etc..
