I had this same issue. I was getting a stale wet smell. I finally traced it to the back trunk underneath a big “bug out/emergency kit” Rubbermaid bin I have in the back. There was moisture collected under the bin and the carpet mat was wet. I think there may have been condensation on the bottom...
Didn’t want to modify the carport eh? Haha. I just bought a black 06 as well. Thinking about doing a 2” strut spacer and 275/70s. Would like a lift but I can’t really justify it (dont off road much anymore)... that tent looks good!
What size tires are you running in that first pic? They look big! Do you have a leveling kit (front strut spacers)? I don’t see any stock rake in that picture...
