Yes, mine does. But mine was overactive even before the lift. It only happens on curvy country roads when i'm hustling it a bit but it is still annoying. Occasionally I'll unplug the switch at the brake booster if I'm on a long curvy drive to disable the system. Or just slow down, wife wants...
Thank you and yeah, one of the factory links broke at about 90k miles. I have the front skid plate on but it's not pictured because I had just finished the installation. My diff drop kit came with some hardware that drops the skid enough to clear the longer bolts. If yours didn't, it would...
Ya I dunno what the deal was. I ended up just mounting the factory 3" mids to that adapter bracket and using them. They are in good shape and sound good. I also added some Infinity's to the rear doors and all of it together is great. Definitely worth the time and modest cost!
Pull the small clamp off the inner boot and stretch it down the half shaft a tiny bit so the larger ribs don't ride on each other. If they rub all the time it will wear a groove where they touch and eventually will split the rubber in that area. There's one pic above that shows the gap between...
I loosened and re-torqued those at ride height too. The lower shock bolt is supposed to be torqued with the weight of the vehicle on it as well. I've seen front struts bent because of that. If that lower bushing is tightened in the air it twists when the trucks weight is on it and puts a...
I like this setup- better sound and since my drivers door is on its way out... Did you do anything in the rear doors? Think I may do them as well while I'm at it.
So is it best to use 2 ohm speakers if possible because the factory speakers are 2 ohm? I don't know much about these amps but it sounds like 4 ohms would work as long as they are standard parallel wired?
I've been looking for some little plastic caps that are the right diameter and if I find them I'm going to grease the top of those studs and put the cap on there to keep em from rusting (as much). I figure I may have to change these again at some point and if I don't, well some mechanic...
If mine were corroded any worse than they were I would have done the same. I've heard of guys cutting an access panel in the floor too but that seems a little extreme.
I'd like to do Moab too but may not be able to swing both because our kids start school mid-August. I say just plan on a few days at each spot and then folks can do one or both spots depending on their schedules. CO is my likely target just because it's closer to me personally.
